 To use WhatsApp you can


Open the WhatsApp app


Select the Chats icon at the bottom of the screen

Select a contact from your list or type the name of the person you want to message in the search bar

Tap the chat box at the bottom of the screen

Type your message

Add emojis, images videos or voice messages using the icons to the right of the chat box

Tap the arrow icon to send

To access locked chats, you can:

Swipe up on the Chats tab

Tap the Locked chats button 

You can also reveal these chats by slowly pulling down on your inbox and entering your password or biometric. 

You'll be prompted to set up your device authentication, such as your phone passcode, fingerprint, or Face ID, before locking a chat if you don't have it yet. 

The chat is hidden from the chat list and the notifications from this chat will also be hidden.
