How to use Google pay


To use Google Pay you can.


Download the Google Pay app on your phone.


Enter your phone number.


Sign in with your Google account.


Follow the instructions to secure your app.


Add a bank account .


You can also add a debit or credit card. 


To make a contactless payment you can.


Unlock your phone.


Make sure NFC is turned on.


Hold the back of your phone near the payment terminal for a few seconds.


Wait for the payment to complete which is indicated by a blue checkmark.


If required enter your PIN code or sign the receipt .


You can also use Google Pay to.


Send money: Tap the Pay button enter the amount, and then send it.


Pay for an  Hold your phone near the payment reader and confirm the transaction with your password PIN fingerprint or face.


*Pay for an item within an app or on a website: Select the item for purchase and tap the Google Pay button.



Transfer money


Go to pay.google.com click Payment Methods and then click Money in Google Pay or Google Pay balance.

If you've verified your identity.

Open the Google Pay app . 

At the bottom tap Insights .

Tap Google Pay balance .

Under your balance is an option to set up your balance to make contactless, in-app and online payments. 

Read the terms and privacy notices on the screen and tap Continue.




Does Google Pay charge fees


Is Google Pay free to use

Google Pay does not impose fees, but you may pay a fee to the bank or network that issued your payment card when you use Google Pay.

 This usually depends on the specific card — debit cards can be free to use in the US but international fees may apply.


Google Pay safe


When you tap to pay with your Android phone, Google Pay doesn't share your real credit card number with the business so your payment info stays safe.

I open a UPI account



Create a new UPI ID

On your mobile device open the Google Pay app

At the top right tap your Profile picture.

Tap Bank account.

Tap the bank account you added to Google Pay.

Next to UPI ID tap Edit .

To create a UPI ID tap Plus .



I transfer money from Google pay to my bank account



Open the Google Pay app. 

Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.

 Tap Google Pay balance. Tap Transfer out.
